Resveratrol
Resveratrol (CAS 501-36-0) was first isolated from the roots of white hellebore (Veratrum grandiflorum O. Loes) in 1940,and later, in 1963, from the roots of Polygonum cuspidatum.
Resveratrol is a polyphenol found in plants known to possess antioxidant and chemopreventive properties.Resveratrol has been the subject of intense interest in recent years due to a range of unique anti-aging properties.
