Horse Chestnut Extract
Horse chestnut seed extract,standardised for the content of aescin.It is used as a treatment for chronic venous insufficiency.Saponins,particularly aescin, are the most relevant active ingredients in horse chestnut extract.Escin is a mixture of more than 30 different saponins,it promotes the strength of the tissues in the lymph vessels, capillaries and veins.
Research indicates horse chestnut seed extract is equally supportive as compression stockings in supporting the veins in the legs and promoting circulation in the lower extremities.
